I use the tag for Read More in many of my posts and want it to show up that way in the feed as well (so that the reader will see the same content someone would see on the frontpage of the blog and then could click the Read More to go to the rest of the article at the permalink. When I first started the blogs, adding Read More was doing nothing at all to the way the post showed up in the feeds. I tried adding the Better Feed plugin, which I downloaded at:

At first, it solved the problem for Mechazilla and had the Read Mores showing up correctly in that feed, but Fandomania's Read Mores were still not working in the feed. And now, for some unknown reason, the Read Mores have stopped working at Mechazilla. I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling, etc, the plugin, and then have pored through loads of forum posts.
Based on what I've read in forums, it sounds like I should be able to get the feeds to have the Read Mores show up without a plugin. Is that correct? Either way, could someone please suggest some way for me to get this to work?
The end result I want is just for a "(more...)" to show up in the feed at the place where I put the More tag in the original post.
