Inconsistent with core – confused

    about.php and update-core.php tells me that my site will receive updates automatically. This plugin, however, tells me it won’t. I says, on condition 4, “Couldn#8217;t retrieve a list of the checksums for WordPress 3.7. This could mean that connections are failing to WordPress.org.”

    I have never had problems connecting to wordpress.org. So what to believe?

    PHP 5.4, IIS7
