Recently the only page on my website that works is the home page. For some reason that I can't figure out every other page I have comes up with the following:
"Not Found
The requested document was not found on this server.
------
Web Server at midnightlights.com "
It doesn't go to my 404.php and all my pages are there and editable and published in the back-end. NO PAGES WORK, not one -except the home page.
If you'd like to check it out its http://www.midnightlights.com and then try going to any other page.
Thank-you for anyones help - it's EXTREMELY appreciated!

Make sure your .htaccess file has 666 permissions. In most cases, you can right-click on the file in your FTP client and 'chmod' it. If .htaccess doesn't exist, create it, then chmod it to 666.
For more information on this, see the WordPress codex: http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions

I don't think I have an .htaccess file... I've been looking for it but I can't find it. Where would it be?
And my pages worked before - I don't remember changing anything before this started happening.

Okay, it must've gotten deleted in the upgrade process.
In the same folder (in your ftp client) where your wp-config.php, wp-settings.php, wp-login.php (and so on) files are, create a file called ".htaccess". Also, your FTP client might say it already exists -- in this case, in a menu like "View", there should be an option to view invisible files (.htaccess is an invisible file).
Either way, once it's created (or viewable, whichever it is for you), chmod it to 666 according to http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions
I'm having similar problems too. All my pages just disappeared. I cannot create new pages either. When I click save, I get a white screen with nothing on it. It all seemed to start over a week ago when I was saving changes to a page, and without realizing it I attempted to refresh the same page through another tab. This is when I noticed the page froze on me. Since then I've discovered that I lost all my pages except the Home page. It appears that the contents of some of my pages got dumped into the Home page.
I tried Chris Thomson's suggestion to change the permissions, but that did not help either. Any help to resolve this problem is greatly appreciated.
My site is http://www.fractalcomm.ca
Thanks

Chris Thomson - I did what you told me to - I added the .htaccess file in the same place as my wp-config.php etc. and I changed the permissions to 666 but my pages are still not showing up... :(
Any other ideas?
