Unexplainably Awful

I have build several dozen wordpress sites and dealt with hundreds of plugins. This one is the worst. Sure other plugins don’t work, but this one has no excuse. When exporting from one wp blog and importing to another, WP has complete control of the format of the export and how it is imported. Why then does this plugin fail 90% of the time? It gets most pictures uploaded and then crashes. The only option is to delete everything that was imported and try again. I have worked my way through their trouble shooting (file not too big, format is correct, etc) and none of them work. I love WP. I just wish someone would figure out a way to make this most basic function actually function.
