slideshow gallery center image vertically

Hi
Am using slideshow gallery Version 1.2.3.2, have been able to center the images in the gallery horizontally but, vertically the align to the top
#<?php echo $styles['wrapperid']; ?> #image img { border:none; height:auto; max-width:100%; margin:0 auto; display:block; }

apparently to center the images vertically requires javascript which i am a total loss at. Can anyone help?

I found a script – jquery.blImageCenter.js am wondering if its worth adding to head section of index.php?
