Option for popout player/lightbox

Are there still plans to allow users to popout the player?

This would be a great (and as far as I’m aware, unique) feature – perhaps we might still embed the player as normal, but underneath or on it the user can click an option to pop it out in a 720p window. This means narrow sites can still embed a smaller player, but allow users the option of viewing higher quality video in a bigger window that pops out in a lightbox.
