On my main site, I have to disable symposium plugin in order to use duplicator to create a package.
I have tested on a fresh install of latest wp with only those two plugins active and its the same problem.

The problem: When wp_symposium is active and I try to use duplicator. When you click to create a package, the popup appears but it is hidden behind a semi transparent veil that covers the screen so that you cannot click anywhere.
Solution: Disabling Symposium during package creation and then re-enabling it works but is not ideal.

I have reported this on the wp_symposium support as well and I had a quick response which made me realise I should have reported it here as well. So I hope that between the two of you this clash can be recreated understood and sorted.

  • Most likely that plugin is trying to include an alternate version of jQuery apart from the base. This is not always the case but has been the case with other plugins. In future versions I’m going to move away from jQuery UI to avoid these conflicts…

    Thanks for the feedback!
