    Hi,
    Great plug in, I am trying out the 30 day trial and so far nothing but praise…
    Just a quick question, I have tested the load time of my website with and without a map included and there seems to be quite a difference, have you any ideas how I can speed things up without cutting the size of my maps.
    ps I tested the speed using GTmetrix.com

    thanks for your feedback (I`d appreciate your review at http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/leaflet-maps-marker even more 😉

    regarding performance: from my point of view the plugin has already been optimized for performance where possible during development over the last two years (reducing http requests, optimizing images, enqueuing scripts+css only if shortcodes is used on a page/post etc).

    Of couse the speed can be improved by making smaller maps, which results in less tile images having to be transfered, but that might not always be an option 😉

    Anyway for a later pro version I also plan to add object caching (= storing results of database queries for later reuse) – any further suggestions on how to further speed up the plugin are welcome!
