horizontal scrolling themes

When i created my first single column theme – before they became too popular amongst photographers – i started with the kubrik theme and adapted it. i learned a lot along the way too.

Now i want to change it up and use a horizontal scrolling theme. I plan to use it as a photo portfolio site. I have seen themes i can purchase off sites like themeforest and hongkiat. they are pretty cheap and i may end up going that way, however i was wondering if there are any standard themes like the old kubrik with the fundamentals of horizontal scrolling embedded that i could use as a starting point. Does anybody know if there are?

i have searched (maybe too quickly) the wordpress site and found nothing.
