Lightbox shows incorrect item count

Scenario:
1. User adds images to his/her lightbox
2. Administrator deletes those image/items from the media library
3. User’s lightbox still indicates the original number of images even though there are fewer displayed.
4. The only way to clear it is to clear the cookies for the site

Whenever the lightbox is displayed, the items should be counted and the cookie updated. A single “clear lightbox” button would also be useful.
