Can only edit PNG’s not JPEG’s?

    For some reason the built in media editor is only allow me to edit (crop, rotate etc) PNG’s and not JPEGS.

    I’ve even uploaded the exact same image, just saved as both and when i try and edit the JPEG the spiny icon appears but then it stops and cannot shop the image.

    The same PNG works fine, image appears and you can edit.

    Is this default or something i can fix?
