• Hey,

I have been receiving a lot of 404 errors on my sites and I don’t know why they are happening or how to solve them.

I’m monitoring them with SEO Ultimate and they all follow the same pattern:

    myurl.com/post/null
    myurl.com/post/_blank
    myurl.com/post/undefined

to list some of them. The mysite.com/post URL is working perfectly, but the crawlers try to acces the same URLs with /null /_blank… and they get a 404.

Why are the crawlers trying to view those pages if they have never existed? Will these errors penalize my site SEO? How can I solve them? Will creating a redirection to the normal post URL work?

    I have been researching for a while and couldn’t find a solution…

    Thanks in advance.
