The blog was running very good. I had customized it and imported all the Blogger feed. About a week ago.
But it stopped working today.
Giving this error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: wp() in /home/www/blog.shahrukhmalik.com/wp-blog-header.php on line 18
The address of the blog is http://blog.shahrukhmalik.com
Recent activity:
I have installed a forum on the same database but a different sub domain (hence folder). So no editing of files were done. Plus it had its own table prefix.
I also installed a wiki on yet another sub domain - dunno about the prefix but since WordPress has its own (did see that during installation), that should not cause any problem.
Note:
If you go to the address and choose 'select all' (Ctrl+A in a PC), some layout things get highlighted.

Ok. I re-uploaded ALL the files and the same error still comes.
Plus, other functions from other than index pages are missing too!
This is very odd.
Did you upload them to the correct directory structure? Did you get rid of the older files before hand? Sometimes, people are not particularly good at "overwriting" files. We recommend that you delete the old files first before uploading the new ones.
Be sure not to delete your plugins and themes and wp-config.php files and such. You'll need to keep those around.

Ok guys, had the same problem.
It's all about the linebreaks in wp-config.php
to solve the problem you have to convert your wp-config.php from MAC format to Windows (it means all linebreaks have to be standard CR/LF). After you have done that and reuploaded the wp-config.php all will be well.
Cheers

Thank you smoczokwik you made my day.
Thanks for the fix. I've had 3 or 4 sites do this in the past few weeks.
I'll check rankings and see my site is showing up in search with all sorts of errors.
And the site is all wacked.
Fixed now.
Thanks again.
