False 'double' and slow page load-time?

    My WordPress site suddenly begun having the problem to start with a ‘double’ page and slow page load-time.

    I already deactivated all plugins but the problem was not solved, I uploaded an older backup but this one has the same problem?

    Does anyone have a suggestion ?

    Try deactivating all plugins and switching to the default Twenty Thirteen/ Twelve WordPress theme.

    If the problem still persists try talking to your hosting providers about this.

    Thanks Andrew, the default theme indeed worked A Okay. I found out there was a problem with the functions.php
