When you are editing your home page there is a section at the bottom of the edit panel called “Expressions Page Options”. In that section is a dropdown list of the slider options. And there you will also select the feature category.
Is this theme compatible with 3.8.1?
I am looking at your Docs pages, looking at your comment above, scratching my head as I try to edit my home page. “Expressions Page Options” is not even showing.

I think you are using the blogbox theme…I have the wrong reference on the demo slider. Go to demo1.kevinsspace.ca
No sir, “Expressions” is the template I loaded. Honest.
If you are still having problems send me am email and I will send you a picture of what you have to do.
If you are still trying to use the theme and it is online, send me the url so I might take a look.
I’ve problems with sliders too. I can’t seem to remember where to insert new images on one of my wordpress blogs.
In the future, please start a new thread as your problem may be different.
To add a feature image create a “New Post” and install a feature image in the post. Make sure the feature image is the category you are using for the slider
