Display registration form instructions

I am testing out this plugin. On my registration page I have instructions for completing the form. Upon submission of the registration, the instructions are still at the top of the registration page – because it’s entered on the page rather than part of the wp-members dialog.

Is there a way that I can show a couple of lines of instructions on the page, but have those instructions not show when the success message is displayed?

If not, a dialog that appears at the top of the form would be wonderful.
