1. the demo page uses default wordpress theme however is that the events list page?
2. you can remove that under Events > Settings > Pages > Event Categories > Categories page and disable categories under Events > Settings > General > General Options > Enable categories
1)Maybe it wasn’t the events page like I thought.
How do I get this to show (I may find it by the time you reply)
2) I’ve set the categories page as none, and set enable categories but ‘Categories’ is still showing.
I’ve also tried selecting ‘no’ under enable categories but this doesn’t work either.
I set a page up at http://northwalesgigs.co.uk/events/the-afterparty-through-colour-support-tbc/
You can check the permalink settings under Events > Settings > Pages > Permalink Slugs.
Here’s the exact formatting code you need to replicate the Events Manager demo:

What should I be looking for under the permalink?
I’ve added the formatting code, but the page hasn’t changed.

Sorry to post again.
I’ve realised that I might not be able to make it look like the demo due to the theme I’m using.
I still can’t get rid of the Categories though!
I removed this
<p>
Categories
#_CATEGORIES
</p>
from ‘Single Event page’ under ‘Formatting’
yes, you can prevent that from showing (event categories under single events page) using that formatting options.
assuming this is resolved, if not you can mark it unresolved on the right.
it may have something to do with caching if you removed the format and still see this in your event pages.
