Password Protected page shows content

    I have a page on a website which links to a WP Page and several media files such as MS Word documents & PDF’s.

    URL: http://www.gothamvolleyball.org/board-wiki/

    I set this parent page as ‘password-protected’. However, when I navigate to the page, the content of the sub-page shows up. It does, however, show the password field and says that the page is password protected and does not show the media files until I’ve typed the password in.

    I am logged out. I have cleared all of my cookies. I have also tried with all cookies disabled.

    Any help?

    I found the solution.

    “Show Sub-Pages Title and Excerpt” was set to true. Setting this to false correct the issue.

    I think this feature should follow the password protection setting and instead it doesn’t.
