Support » Fixing WordPress » duplicating a page

  • Chaps, I wonder if you can help me at all. I need to add a new page to my site, and rather than creating a new one and adding elements to it, I would like to duplicate an existing one. How do I do that please? I can’t see any “duplicate” option anywhere. At the moment I am under “Pages”
    thanks

  • Have you looked at plugins for this?

hi, ahm no, I didn’t actually, I thought it’d be an inbuilt feature. I take it isn’t. In that case, if it’s not possible without any plugin, is there any you recommend?
    thanks

I’ve not done this – but this plugin looks promising:

(A bit outdated, but looks like it’s still working fine – at least from the support forum.)

Ok will give it a go. A couple of things though:
1)I am not a heavy user of wordpress, so if something goes wrong, can I remove the plug in?
2)Is there a specific section in this forum where I can get help for this plug in specifically?
    thanks

#1 yes – just deactivate it.

#2 yes – click on the support tab via the link I posted above.
