Adding /feed to my domain shows a Not found error

Hi,

I have Esplanade theme with a number of static pages and very few posts at a time on the home page, but I would like to offer my posts as a feed anyway. I thought this was built in to WP now, but whichever browser I try, I get the Not Found page. What am I missing here?
