• I’m using a responsive theme and
want to add a “tap to call” button
so that it shows up at the top of
the screen – under the menu “bar”

I have put one into the sidebar and
it shows up quite nicely on a full
sized screen… right at the top
    of the page…

yet, when I view the site in my mobile
phone, the “tap to call” button is
    moved way down the page…

suggestions? It would not look appropriate
    stuck in the post/page

  • Do you have a link to a page where we can see the issue? Likely it’s a matter of CSS positioning but without seeing code, I can’t say one way or the other.

    thank you many bunches 🙂

    Ah okay.

Well, you’re going to need to put the push to call button at the top of your normal content if you want it to appear there when on a smaller screen (mobile device). This is because the way most responsive designs deal with sidebars is to make everything “display:block; width:100%;” so everything stacks on top of each other – so content on top followed by the sidebar content (which is why the current button appears down below when the screen is re-sized smaller).

So again, to work around this, just add the push to call button in your main content area.
