Buttons duplicated in custom WP_Query in footer

My theme has a custom WP_Query in the site footer, and this plugin inserts the buttons into that area too, in addition to the main content area just below the post.

I know I can use CSS to just hide the incorrect buttons in the footer, but I’d rather not resort to that for performance reasons.

Is there a hook, or some custom code for functions.php, that can fix this problem? I saw another user also had this issue-
