I tried to login since yesterday and I receive the error message:
ERROR: WordPress requires Cookies but your browser does not support them or they are blocked. however, I do have my brower set to allow cookies.
Also, when I click on the link above the login, http://www.livenewsflash.com Let's Blog, it takes me to the wordpress.org web site.
I really need your help to finish my husbands site, any help would be appreciated :)

You've got your blog address wrong. It should just be http://www.livenewsflash.com you've got /Letsblog.html appended to it. Just remove everything after the /

Thanks for your help however, I still cannot log in to wp-login.php to change the url. It gives me the cookie error message. Is there another way to log in? Or do I have to re-install?

I am having the same problem. I get: ERROR: WordPress requires Cookies but your browser does not support them or they are blocked.
I have checked, and Firefox is accepting cookies from my wordpress site.

I'm sorry, I am quite new to wordpress (two days, woo), could you go into a little more detail about using phpadmin, and what you edited?

if you have cpanel you just goto MySQL Databases. Scroll all the way to the bottom. There is a link to open phpMyAdmin.

Choose your wordpress database. Select the wp_options table. (left side). Click Browse. Find siteurl and home and edit accordingly.

If you don't have cpanel then you are going to need someone to help you.

Alright, I did all of that, except I did not find home in the wp_options table. However, when I tried opening wp_login.php again, it seems to be working, so far.

    Thanks!

I am having some login problems and would appreciate any help.

I was following step 1 of the instruction here: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/164999 to try and resolve the image uploading problem in WP 2.5.

As instructed, I deleted my wp-content & wp-admin and uploaded them from a fresh wp 2.5 download then ran into all sorts of problems.

So, I restored the original wp-content & wp-admin but now I can't get logged in to wp. My site is still functioning fine, but my bookmarked login page shows up weird and then I get this message: Error 404 - Not Found on a page of my site.

my wp-login.php is still in my public_html folder. Did it get corrupted or something?

    Thank you in advance
