Please provide me your URL or screenshot to ser TVE imagen size problem.

You can choose a page or posts for the home page. You can add widgets for the homepage.

At the moment there are no option to hide a category on the homepage. I guess that what you need. I’ll try to add it en the next release. Meanwhile you can search a plugin or make a custom page for the homepage. for example a category page.

Thanks, I´ll fix it on the next release. Meanwhile add this CSS code to the Extra Custom CSS panel on the options of the theme.

This page use a plugin for listing authors so the HTML and CSS are special. Use this code for the width and if you need another tweak for this plugin/page I wouldn’t mind to help you:
