Since upgrade to WP 3.6.1 Backitup DOES NOT WORK

I have upgraded to WP 3.6.1. and Backitup version 1.4.2 has stopped working, I get this error:
Error: Unable to backup your database. Please try again.
Anyone experiencing this?
Is it related to the WP upgrade or do I have a problem with my database?
