Grid View of the categeories and posts

hmmm i think i specified as much as i can, i need to make my categories and posts page to be grid view instead of list view…

i need to make it instead of list view (all posts under each other) to be grid view (3 posts per row with the featured image and excerpts)

am using a theme called flatsome by ux themes, but i think this is a general thing..

i know i need to add some jquery and change something in index file, but what is it to change i dont know..
