• When uploading the content in wp-includes through the plugin’s admin UI, files with certain extensions are skipped, particularly SVG, SWF and XAP. The new mediaelement JS stuff added in WordPress 3.6 have these files in its folder (wp-includes/js/mediaelement/) and the upload utility didn’t bother to upload them (didn’t even appear in the list). This is because the include list is limited to a default of “*.css;*.js;*.gif;*.png;*.jpg;*.xml”, this should probably be updated to include some of these other file types.
