When the plugin is activated, you can use [mc4wp_checkbox "Your label text"] in your Contact Form 7 templates.
how do I integrate my mailchimp account with contact form 7? I have both plugins activated. I have limited understanding of html or css! i just want to use contact form 7 and mail chimp to build an email list and am having a hard time knowing how to do that!

Where exactly should we place that line of code?
I supposed it was at the Edit Contact Form screen – left side Form field. Here’s what I have there:

<p>[mc4wp_checkbox "Sign-up to our newsletter"]<p>
<p>Subject<br />
[text your-subject] </p>

Then I went to my website to test the form. The check box appears fine but when I hit send, I got an error message:
“Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.”

Ok, ran more tests and it seems like the code is right, but my “fake” name & email address I used as a test wasn’t accepted by the system.
Now it all seems to be working well.
Hi. Just installed MC for WP and connected my account through the API key. Added [mc4wp_checkbox “Sign-up to our newsletter”] – On the form I filled all the fields and selected that checkbox, after hitting SEND it keeps showing the “loading” animation. I received the email with all the fields but the user’s email wasn’t added to MailChimp’s list.
Any idea on how to solve this?
