Ratings in comments

Does anyone know of a way to integrate a rating field into the comment form and then display that rating along with the comment?

I’ve been searching for this for so long and every tutorial out there seems outdated and doesn’t work. I’ve currently managed to add a rating option to the comment form along with some other fields, but have no idea how to get them to actually display in the posted comment.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
