   My problem is pretty straightforward, but I can't find specific info on how to solve it.

   I want to add posts to my blog on behalf of other authors. However I don't want to always login as the other author. Is there a workaround/plugin where I can choose an author from a dropdown window on the Post screen or something like that?

   Yes. Just choose the other author's name from the dropdown window in the post screen. (Scroll down and look in the sidebar, it's there.)

   OK, sorry, you're right. I was registering my users with not enough permissions... great, fixed :)

   I had marked this "resolved" but now have un-marked it since I have another problem with this: what if I have 2 authors for a post? How can I choose 2 authors and then also output the correct information for them at the top of my post?

   all i did was search under plugins for multiple authors

   http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/multiple-authors/

   see if that works
