    Hey,

    1 – Have a site that an administrator is going to set up users from a membership list. Setting them up in the backend.

    2 – This is NOT an open registration site – it is a members only KofC organization. But will have information for BOTH the general public and members only.

    3 – There is Members Only news that is ONLY available to registered members.

    Is there a plugin that ALLOWS logins to pre-registered people but DOES NOT allow self-registration?

    Thanks!

  • In my own experience, simply un-checking “Anyone can register” at Dashboard > Settings > General stops the display of “Registration” anywhere and everywhere.

    Thanks Lee – sometimes I over think things. (that IS unchecked in the back-end, I just looked)

    I see the Meta Widget – but it gives links I don’t want: Entries, Comments, WordPress.org.

    Any thoughts on how to disable those? I will poke around a bit.

    Found solution:
    Custom Meta Plugin

    Something you might want to occasionally do is to temporarily enable wp_debug for just a minute or two in wp-config.php to check older plugins (and even some newer ones) for errors, notices and so on:

    define('WP_DEBUG', true);
    //define('WP_DEBUG', false);

    Thanks! I will look into that.

    I always appreciate tips and tricks from others!
