   The static front page setting isn't under Settings->Reading anymore. Is this removed in 2.5 or moved to a new location?

   That's where it should be.

   On my test site, it's the first block on that page, under the heading Front page displays

   Here's a screenshot. It is there on one of my blogs but not on this one (both are running 2.5-RC1.1). I'll try an svn up to see if that fixes it.

   Edit: svn up to Revision 7449 moments ago didn't fix it.

   I had the same problem... fresh install, and the option isn't there.

   Just found out you have to WRITE your page first, the option is not available until you have a page for it to be set to... how very web 2.0 :P
