Why are you trying to open the zip file with Acrobat Reader?
Try downloading again using an alternate web browser.
Right click on the file you downloaded, and select a program other than Adobe Reader under ‘Open With..’
You are going to need some type of zip software to unzip the zipped files. WinRar is good, maybe 7zip. Google zip file software. There should be some things free to use for doing this. Adobe reader is not going to open a zipped file.
It sounds to me like you need a .zip file unzipper– to use the technical term. I would try downloading a free zip program. Once you have downloaded the zip file, right-click it and select “open with” and navigate to the zip program you downloaded.

To get WP working, you will need to install it on your domain. The files should be unzipped there or unzipped locally and then uploaded on your server. Then, you’ll need to follow the Installing WordPress procedure.
Zanko, it would be helpful if you pasted the link to your site to see what happens and why your WP doesn’t show up.
