Is there any way to filter the directory table view to only show the items who fit in a particular category.

For example, the form allows people to insert their name and favorite color. I would like to output a directory table of only the people who’s favorite color is blue.

It would be great if this functionality could be added to the shortcode string, such as [directory=”1″ include=”columnID,blue”]

  • Bump! I have a directory which includes programs in 3 types. The types are indicated by a checkbox standard field in the Gravity Form that accepts input. I would like to be able to
    1) Show a table that has entries filtered by the checkboxes
    2) Show a column in a summary table which shows which of the checkboxes are active on an entry.

You can see my directory in action at: http://fern.communitycouncil.ca/resource-inventory/

You’ll see I have been able to show each of the checkbox identifiers as a separate column, but I want to show one column with any of the three values listed under that column.

I also need this functionality. Any good directory will enable users to sort or filter by category

You can now select fields to be included in the search form. The fields show up as dropdown lists or as text fields, depending on the type of field. Read the FAQ on “How do Directory Search filters work?” for more information.
