    Hey xorred,

Can you contact support and I can troubleshoot with you to find the problem. It may be that you’re using an older version of WordPress which isn’t compatible with the plugin.

    Many thanks,

    John

    Hey xorred,

If your version of WordPress is up to date then it could be a PHP conflict with another plugin. I haven’t come across this issue before so I’d like to try to get to the bottom of it. Can you contact me via the support page so I can help you troubleshoot?

    Many thanks,

    John

    Hey xorred,

It’s been a few days since you posted this support request and so I wanted to check in to see whether you still needed assistance?

    Kind regards,

    John

it is your responsibility to code your plugin with such functions as to prevent conflicts with another plugin. People use multiple facebook plugins. Test yours with the official Facebook plugin, for example.

You do realise that wordpress.org alone hosts over 27,000 plugins? The very least you could do is let the plugin author know what other plugins are conflicting with this one.

I also happen to know that the “official” Facebook plugin has has multiple issues since Day 1.

    Hey xorred,

I totally agree, and apologize that the plugin may have caused a conflict in this case. It’s certainly an ongoing process to make the plugin as robust as possible and so any feedback I can get from users to help me iron out any potential conflicts is extremely helpful, as I can’t test with every plugin out there unfortunately. I did test with the Official Facebook plugin – that was actually the very first plugin I tested with – although if they’ve updated several times since then it’s possible that a conflict has developed. I’ll look into that.

My goal is to make this plugin as robust and useful as possible and so feedback from users such as yourself is very valuable. Obviously there’s no obligation for you to help me though, and if you’ve moved on to using a different plugin and have no desire to troubleshoot this issue then I completely understand.

    Many thanks,

    John

It’s been a month so I’m going to go ahead and mark this thread as resolved. If you need support then just let me know.

    Thanks!
