   Having issues with wp-e-commerce plug-in.

   Enabled and disabled it multiple times, still getting fatal errors.

   I just want to remove it completely and then re-upload and do fresh install.
   However, I noticed that when you deactivate a plug-in, it keeps all the tables and fields within the database.

   Is there a way to ensure it's cleaned out completely?
   I need to be precise in editing the DB, i have the rest of the site running fine with a lot of data on it.

   Any helps would be great.

   What i did to get rid of the db files was I went to their main website and dled the rc1 version and within the plugin page it has an uninstall feature and it deletes teh db files for it!

   That's the problem with some plugins, they leave all sorts of crap behind after you deactivate them. Glad to see this author has provided a mechanism to clear that garbage out.

   For anyone else stumbling upon this thread there is a plugin called Clean Options that will scan your wp_options table for orphaned items and remove them if you wish. I prefer doing it manually via phpMyAdmin but I have used this plugin a few times and it works fairly well.

   I did the same, after going nuts trying to uninstall it. Download the RC1 version, uploaded and activated, and found no uninstall feature anywhere. What version of Wordpress are you on? 2.5 here.

   I tried the "uninstall" button. Removed all the wp e-commerce files, then reinstalled and it apparently doesn't remove the table upon an "uninstall" because all the previous data was still there. I'm using RC 1 of wp e-commerce and WordPress 2.5.

   So, the link is there but I can't figure out what it does. At some point I'll probably look at the code, but not now. If somebody else does, let me know.

   The uninstall "button" is a link on the plugins page. It's located in the descriptive text next to the wp e-commerce plug-in authors contact information.
