Please try switching you theme to TwentyTwelve and disabling all non-bbPress plugins.
As far as I am aware of there is no known issue and everything should work fine, which means there is a probably a conflict with your theme or a plugin.

I’ve also noticed that when I click on “Post Formatting” and save. The click mark is removed?

The only other thing to do would be to see if there is any javascript errors on the page.

Hi Jared, thanks for the offer but I just got it working. I had “bbPress Threaded Replies”
plugin activated and when I removed it everything worked?

Hmm interesting, I have not used that plugin. bbPress 2.4 supports threaded replies in core 🙂
