Add Event – Time from … to
-
Hallo Marcus,
I have installed Event Mangager Version 5.5.2 and there is an small problem if I add en event and for that the time from … to.
If I have added no time, the result in the event: 00:00 Uhr
If I have added full-time, the result in the event: ganztägig Uhr
If I give a full time, the result in the event is right: 11:00 – 16:00 UhrUhr ~ time
In the first two options to show “Uhr” (time) is wrong.
Thank you for help.

Hi,
Would it be possible to post a screenshot of the error you’re seeing? That will make it easier to see what’s wrong. Thanks.

Thanks. Which placeholder are you using for Zeit? You can check under Events > Settings > Formating > Events > Single Events Page.
Hi,
these are the standard defininations:
head:
<table cellpadding=”0″ cellspacing=”0″ class=”events-table” >
<thead>
<tr>
<th class=”event-time” width=”200″>Datum </th>
<th class=”event-description” width=”*”>Titel der Veranstaltung</th>
</tr>
</thead>
<tbody>event list:
<tr>
<td>
#_EVENTDATES
</td>
<td>
#_EVENTLINK,
{has_location} #_LOCATIONNAME, #_LOCATIONSTATE {/has_location}
</td>
</tr>Thank you for help

have you tried to use conditional placeholders? – http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/conditional-placeholders/
Hi,
which conditional placeholder do you prefer to fix the problem?
I think it is a prgramming issue in the code.
For example:
00:00 Uhr –> no display “00:00 Uhr”
ganztägig Uhr –> no display “Uhr”
10:00 – 19:00 Uhr –> display is okThank you for help.

00:00 Uhr –> no display “00:00 Uhr”
I think this is ‘normal’, but you could use conditionals like no_time to alter what is shown:
http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/conditional-placeholders/ganztägig Uhr –> no display “Uhr”
Is this an all-day event? if so, you should be able to change that in your Settings > Formattings > Date/Time
If the translation that came bydefault is wrong, we can correct that.
Marcus,
“ganztägig Uhr” is a all-day event and the word “Uhr” ~ time or h” in the original version is wrong.
“00:00 Uhr” is no time for the event in the shedule and is not to display.
Thank you for help.
can you send a screenshot of your settings section mentioned above?
as for the 00:00 Uhr, you could use a conditional like no_time or has_time to show your times – http://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/conditional-placeholders/
Marcus,
do you have a e-Mail-adress to send you my setting section from WP backend?
Which section do you need?
Where I must change “conditional like no_time or has_time”
Sorry, I have never worked with conditional placeholders with event manger.
Thank you for help.

I think Marcus means the Events > Settings > Formating > Events > Single Events Page.
To use conditional tags, you wrap the tags around the content you want to show if the condition is true. In this example,
{has_time}content{/has_time}
the word content will only display is the event has a time.
Hi,
under Events > Settings > Formating > Events > Single Events Page I have the following code:
<div style="float:left; margin: 5px 15px 10px 1px">#_MAP</div> <p> <strong>Titel der Veranstaltung:</strong> #_EVENTNAME <strong>Datum:</strong> #_EVENTDATES <strong>Zeit:</strong> #_EVENTTIMES Uhr <strong>Ort / Start der Veranstaltung:</strong> #_LOCATIONLINK <strong>Bundesland / Land:</strong> #_CATEGORYNAME </p> <br style="clear:both;" /> #_EVENTNOTES <div style="text-align: center"> <strong>Weitere Termine:</strong> <a href="http://oldtimer-veranstaltung.de/kalender/">Link zur Veranstaltungsübersicht</a> </div>
[Moderator Note: Please post code & markup between backticks or use the code button. Your posted code may now have been permanently damaged by the forum’s parser.]
This is the problem
#_EVENTTIMES Uhr
and here is an example link:
http://oldtimer-veranstaltung.de/kalender/termine/london-to-brighton-veteran-car-run/It need to display “ganztägig” without “Uhr”.
Sholuld I change “#_EVENTTIMES Uhr” against “{has_time}content{/has_time}”
Thank you for help
Given the moderator’s note on your last post, is the code in it correct? There are no conditional tsgs in it. I’m wondering if some tags were stripped out by the forum?
Hi,
the code which I have posted is right and nothing is lost. Here are three links to see the different in displaying the date:http://oldtimer-veranstaltung.de/kalender/termine/london-to-brighton-veteran-car-run/ —> “Uhr” is wrong
http://oldtimer-veranstaltung.de/kalender/termine/historicar-oldtimerfachmesse/ —> “Uhr” is right
http://oldtimer-veranstaltung.de/kalender/termine/klassikstadt-sonntagstreff-3/ —> “Uhr” is right
Thanks for help
