I am facing same issue….no larger map appears. I have minimal knowledge in coding.

Relating on a site I am working on for a local drama group – currently at http://daithiobroin.ie/dss
I had fixed this problem and then today I updated my GMW and now I have the problem back again.
I can’t remember which file line #156 should be commented from…..gmw.js? jquery.fancybox.pack.js?….google-maps-widget.php?…..
I am also getting a ‘loading’ icon running permanently on the site which disappears when I click on it.
Will I have to apply a fix whenever I update the widget?
Any help much appreciated.

Hi again,
Just to update. I commentented out the complete jquery.fancybox.pack.js file and now the map works but I am still getting the ‘loading icon’ displaying until I click on the map (or the icon).

Update, If I click on the ‘loading icon’ before I click on the map then the map ‘pop out’ will not work.

Have had to temporarily remove widget as I need to show site to guys in the club. Have installed ‘SO Mobile Map Widget’ as a temporary measure but would prefer to use GMW!

GMW does not have a loading icon. It’s a part of the theme or some other plugin.

What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?
