Built in calendar – customize archived posts display

    WordPress built in calendar contains archived posts. Wen you click on certain day it lists all posts that were published that day on a page that has url in this format: yy/mm/dd (2013/10/09).

    So im wondering how can i customize display of those pots? They are displayed as full articles. How can i display just titles with excerpts so it looks better and more organized?

    Is it also possible to show certain categoris or all of them have to be shown?
