   G'day all.

   I am getting someone trying to post one word comments to the same blog message on my blog (all comments on my blog have to be approved so are all marked as spam). I have done a whois search, they originally came from the RIPE network in Amsterdam, but are now coming from other Asian hosting networks. All the ip's are different so blocking an individual ip is not an option. I guess that someone is running a bot.

   What can I do to stop this?
   Can I turn off comments (and if so, I can't find where)?

   u can turn off comments for the future posts. for older posts you would have to either do it manually or run a sql command. i suggest you let akismet take care of it.
