• Hi.

I have a plugin on my website that uses a short code to show the reviews on the page where I decide to include the SHORT CODE.

    My question is…

Is there a way to convert that shortcode into a javascript or any other code, so that it is universal and I can add it to an HTML page, an HTML email, or any other website where there are no wordpress installed.

I don’t know if there is a way to call that shortcode from any other source other than the original wordpress site?

    Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

    Best,
    Eduardo

  • First, identify which plugin you are using and then post in that plugin’s dedicated forum via its page in the Plugin Repository.

    hi @esmi

    Thanks for your reply.

It is called SOCIAL REVIEW ENGINE.

In this case it is specific for that plugin that I would like to use it, but in general, I might want to do it with any other plugin. That is why I post it here. It is more of a hack or way around than a specific plugin issue.

Please let me know if it is possible or somebody knows a way around.

    Thanks
    Best,
    Eduardo

There is no general answer that we can provide. It will vary tremendously from plugin to plugin and shortcode to shortcode.
