Hi, I replied here already, but I hadn’t noticed this post. Let’s continue the conversation here. For the record, here’s what I wrote:
With all the moves and URL changes along the way, you seem to have left your subscribers behind. For your information, each new URL gets assigned a different Blog ID in our system; that’s whow we keep track of which subscribers get assigned to which site. Here is what I currently have:
ID 54140082 – emilythomaswrites.wordpress.com : 3 WordPress.com Followers, 0 Email-only Followers
ID 57037472 – http://www.theokayestmom.org : 61 WordPress.com Followers, 75 Email-only Followers
ID 58716255 – http://www.emilythomaswrites.com : 0 WordPress.com Followers, 2 Email-only Followers
So, which is the correct site that you are currently using? http://www.theokayestmom.org and http://www.emilythomaswrites.com point to the same place using domain masking, but what is the actual URL of your site? Note that emilythomaswrites.wordpress.com redirects to http://www.theokayestmom.org. If you want to use http://www.emilythomaswrites.com as your site’s URL, you might want to change the configuration for http://www.theokayestmom.org so that it also redirects to http://www.emilythomaswrites.com instead of using domain masking.
So, let me know for sure which site should have all the subscribers (I think it’s http://www.emilythomaswrites.com but I want to be sure) and I’ll get them all set up for you.
I await your response!
Richard – I’m noticing WP is not counting my WP followers correctly again. I understand from the original thread that there were adjustments to eliminate duplicates and it was corrected. But now WP follower count seems like it’s stuck on 15 even though I count 20.
Can you please let me know if there was another update I missed.
Thank you

Hi Pat,
Thanks for letting us know. I’ll see if we can force the count to update itself, and I’ll let you know once it’s fixed.
Hi Pat,
We’ve updated the count for oyu. Thanks for the report!
Got it, thank you, Richard. Is that something that is an ongoing problem or is it fixed now?
It *should* be fixed permanently, but please do let me know if it happens again.
