    WordPress 2.5 and K2 Sidebar Problem. I just upgraded my WordPress Version up to 2.5 and I am using K2 RC4. Now there is only one Problem concerning the Dashboard. Whenever I push that Button or Login into the Administration Area I get the following Failure:

    <strong>Fatal error:</strong> Call to undefined function: wp_register_sidebar_widget() in /.../.../.../wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php on line 31

    I need help. There might be a problem with the K2 Sidebar Manager. Cause when I use another Theme the Dashboard works perfect.

  • Hey, same to me !

    anyone can help ?

    It seems that K2 sidebar manager is not compatible with WordPress 2.5. If you uncheck the box for the K2 sidebar in the K2 Option Panel, it works…

    Thanks dude. But I solved the Problem by overwriting the sbm folder with the latest Version of K2. Just this Folder: K2/App/Includes. That should be work too.

    I just upgraded to WP 2.5 and K2. I cannot even login to admin.
    I get this message
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_register_sidebar_widget() in /home/mikekell/public_html/wp-admin/includes/dashboard.php on line 31
    I amsure its the K2 sidebar causing the problem. I even deleted it on the server

    Any help really appreciated dudes

    You have to uninstall it before you delete it. WP is now looking for K2 and cannot find it. A call to an undefined function is usually a missing file.
