• Hi guys.
I have a copy of MU running on my domain. When I set it up it asked me if I wanted Sub-Domain or Sub-Directory. I did subdomain but it didn’t work. So I had to re-install it with a sub-domain. I have sub-directorys running, but if someone wanted a sub-domain they could just email me and ask me one. Someone e-mailed me and asked me for one. So I logged into my cPanel and added a sub-domain. The sub-domain created it’s own directory on the domain. So if I had a blog named Test and I had a sub-domain named test then the sub-domain would override it and the blog would dissapear. I am wanting to find the directory to make the sub-domain re-direct to. So it would work.

  • usually your cpanel would have that feature built in. If you were to click on the subdomains tab it would be their and be called setup redirection. That is where it is on mine unless i can get a screenshot of your cpanel i cant help you any further, sorry

Support queries for WordPress MU should be sent to,
    http://mu.wordpress.org/forums/

The software is different than what we use which is why they have their own forum.
