Auto detect Post type

    I am using a specific plugin for my vacation rental properties which has it’s own post type. Starbox is assuming the property pages are posts and consequently putting my author box on each of the property pages. Is there any way to auto detect post or page types so Starbox plugin will also have the option to turn off the author box for these properties? I’ve seen it done in other plugins of this kind so I’m hoping you can help with this one. I would be happy to give more info if you need it. BTW I love Starbox plugin. It works great except for that little problem. Thanks.

    Okay, I added a filter to show the author box only in post type = “post”
    You can check now if is working for you.

    Please re-install the plugin (will not remove your data)

    I will add some options in settings in the future.

    Please also write a short review for StarBox to support us.

    Loving your plugin as well!
    I have many posts where I DON’T want the author box to show up. Is there a way to remove the author box from certain posts? Not sure what “Hide Author Box from custom posts types” stands for?

    I NEED the author box to be seen on custom posts types, but the checkbox is checked to hide and it won’t let me uncheck and save. Please help.. this is really affecting my google structure data errors in webmaster tools.
