   Hey,
   Just wandering if it could be installed on a MAC computer. Just bought one and I would really like to know.

   Yes, WordPress can be installed an run on a Mac, but you'll have to do some work first. The Mac's built-in webserver (Apache) is ideal, but it needs some configuration to run PHP, and you'll need to install the MySQL database program.

   I managed to do all that by following a variety of tutorials (I really meant to write up what I did, but didn't get round to it).

   An easier way is to use MAMP, which packages the server components you need into an easy to use installer. I haven't used it myself, but it seems to work very well for a lot of people - see here for details.

   Once you have that set up, you can install WordPress, using the normal instructions. If you decide to try it and get stuck, please ask more questions.
