Ajax.googleapis hang

I have been using this plugin for a while now, but recently I noticed that I often get hangups in loading my pages with the ajax.googleapis.com loading at the bottom. I can wait forever or reload and it loads just fine. Is this a conflict with something else trying to load or what? Ideas welcome. Thanks!
