Is there a way to display the thumbnail version of the image that is uploaded to the testimonial? I am using a square image. This way it would use the cropped version that wordpress generates rather than squishing the full-size version. It also would mean my client doesn’t need to crop images himself before uploading.

If I recall correctly, not at the moment. It is something I want to work on though.

If you happen to know the code that I would replace the current image call with to grab the thumbnail instead I am happy editing the plugin files to achieve this. I tried a few different things but I couldn’t get it working. If you have any ideas I’d love to hear them otherwise I think I won’t be able to use the plugin sadly. Thanks!

Right now it’s not an easy change and I don’t have the code available. I will be adding this in the near future.

I hate to see you unable to use the plugin. Hopefully you can come back to it or use it on future sites.

    Hi Jeff,

Have you made any progress on this issue?

I am displaying thumbnail images for each testimony, but the full size image is being downloaded – sometimes 3000px!

    Great plugin by they way.

Not yet. I got really busy working on other projects and forgot about it.

I will look at making a global setting (dropdown in the Testimonials -> Settings page) to select the default size to use.

Thanks for bringing this to the top so it’s back on my radar.

This will be in the next update pushed this weekend or next.

The extra setting for image size works beautifully. Thanks very much Jeff.
