• When this plugin is activated, the media uploader no longer loads media that already exists in WordPress and any attempt to upload an image throws an error, but the image does get successfully uploaded. I can see it in WordPress after I deactivate the plugin.

    To reproduce:
    Activate the plugin.
    Add new post.
    Add media.
    Drag and drop an image.
    Error.
    Deactivate the plugin.
Go back to Add Media and existing and new images are shown in the uploader.

The error in WordPress is ambiguous, it reads:
    Error image.jpg
An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.

I see the plugin hasn’t been updated in a while. Anyone have any thoughts on how to debug this and update in the plugin?

  • I need to update a website using this to 3.7 and might be able to look into it next month. Although I think I’ll probably end up looking at using advanced custom fields to replace it – I’d recommend trying that as its very easy to work with and up to date.
